I thought I was over it, but my manager at work has got me back in to wrestling. Unfortunately, she has done so at an abysmal time for the WWE. I'm pretty much just hate-watching it and then laughing about it on Botchamania (which I was way late to the party on but now binge watch old episodes of when I'm supposed to be working).
Speaking of Botchamania, I'm now well up for watching of the other promotions they show, or other indie stuff. Specifically, NJPW, anything Lucha-y (I'm easily amused by people doing crazy flips etc.) and some sort of high-flying Japanese women's event that they showed once and looked brilliant. I vaguely remember some people here enjoying wrestling so hoped somebody may have links to where I can watch any of this. I know NJPW has a show in the States with English announcers so I'd like to catch some of that. I used to love ECW and have caught bits and pieces of ICW (which is pretty great) but don't particularly want to watch out of shape creepy uncle types smashing each other with bits of wood on front lawns. That's too grim for my tastes. Also nothing involving the Insane Clown Posse please. Any clues where I should look? Ta.
