The last game of the year. And for this we will play those lovely people who license recorded music played in public or broadcast and then distribute the licence fees to its performer and recording rightholder members. Otherwise known as PPL. We have never played them before at 11-a-side so nobody knows what to expect.

Note that this will be an early kick-off, and not at our usual home ground. Autumn is a busy time for matches on astro turf, and this was the best available option. At least we're close to a fantastic pub, where they will show Norwich v Arsenal if the Sky gods are willing (not 100% sure but I think the Rugby World Cup may be finally over by then).

Finally, another reminder that our traditional Football Awards Night will take place on Thursday 17 December, so make sure to clear your diary for that. Voting forms will be dispatched on the day after this match, and that will give you more than 2 weeks to contemplate who's been top or flop this year.

Usual details:
- we play on a full-sized astro-turf pitch
- there are changing and toilet facilities
- 10 min walk from Homerton Overground station
- arrive at 11;30 AM for warm-up, tactics discussion, pre-match fags, team pictures, etc.
- full 2 x 45 minutes and injury time + 15 min break
- normal FA rules, including rolling subs
- shirt colour RED
- final team will be announced on the Thursday before the game
- 6 pounds per player will be collected on the day
- post-match analysis in the nearby Adam & Eve pub
