"I had to put my 12 year old lab (Dusty) to sleep on June 24th 2015. he was wonderful, in every way. I did not think I would have to deal with such pain again 2 months later. My late sister left her dog Brutus to me after her death. Brutus. He became my best friend, and after my sister left, the only thing that would sooth him was this song. It would send him right to sleep. My last link to my sister. I brought him to the vet today. He has cancer in his hip. He only has about one month left, but he suggested we put him to sleep on Tuesday. Can you believe that. 3 days left. I sang this to him tonight. He is sleeping. And feels no pain at this moment.
