I was an apolitical teenager through it all. Most left-leaning forums and comments seem to go on about how it's just 'tory-lite' but (ignoring Iraq) was it really that bad? Or was it fine mostly, just disappointing and a little bit shit? I'd take that over what we have now.

I get the feeling Britain will always be governed by a 'centre' left/right party, if the history of recent elections is anything to go by.
