tried to argue my case, but they were having none of it. made a half-hearted argument about this new consumer law that had kicked in a couple weeks ago, but didn't really know the nuts and bolts of the new consumer rights...and there was a queue forming behind me. so I just gave in. like a weak cunt

ended up buying some other shitty trainers - cost me twenty quid more, too.

all in all - not a good experience.
