rolling scandinavian telly thread v2
Sort of stopped watching after cramming the obvious moody cop contenders in after the Guardian told me it was very good and more importantly popular, but there seems to be a second wave of stuff on or coming on UK telly, and even the non standout stuff pisses on the British alternatives, let's be honest. Probably going to watch the following....
- New series of Arne Dahl started on BBC4 last night.
- The same channel had been showing Beck, also alright and still on iPlayer.
- Think there's a new series of The Bridge out.
- Rolf Lassgard, the real Wallander, is in a film called The Hunted, might be a bit meh, tbh, and False Trail, again both on BBC4.
- There's a political drama by Jo Nesbo on Sky Arts around Christmas. Never read the books, see them in chazzer shops a lot, might be shite.
- Channel 4 are launching their own foreign drama channel called Walter Presents which sounds decent, up tp 600 hours of stuff from Europe, Scandinavia and South America.
