NFL Week 6 Thread
We lost another one of the unbeaten teams on Thursday, with the Falcons falling to the Saints. The AFC is left with the evil Patriots efficiently destroying everyone in their path, the Broncos with their defense carrying their stuttering offense for now, and the Bengals led by early season MVP Andy Dalton (at least until he has a prime-time game). The NFC gives us the relatively balanced Packers who are only likely to improve, and the Panthers who have no offense but they just don't care.
The remaining fixtures:
Redskins at Jets (The Jets return from their bye week with what it expected to be a turnover feast for their defense - how long can Fitzpatrick pretend to be a starting QB?)
Cardinals at Steelers (Would be a great game if Big Ben was ready to return, but he isn't so it won't be)
Chiefs at Vikings (This could be grim to watch. Three-and-out flags for all Chiefs fans)
Bengals at Bills (Can the Bills defense stop the Andy Dalton procession? Not if they have to compensate for EJ Manuel leading their offense)
Bears at Lions (I think I like the Bears in this one (they are making me say that), if they manage to have any WRs available for the game)
Broncos at Browns (Johnny Football managing to stay in the news despite losing out to Josh McCown for the starter role.)
Texans at Jaguars (JJ Watt is questionable to play. This is of course absurd - who would be brave enough to tell him that he can't play? No one, that's who)
Dolphins at Titans (Dangerous Dan Campbell is in charge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqBlJs79NN0&feature=youtu.be&t=12)
Panthers at Seahawks (Beast Mode is expected to return, but he wasn't very effective before now. This could turn into an old fashioned scramble-off between the two QBs)
Chargers at Packers (Packers gradually getting healthier on offense and meaner on defense. The Chargers have good hustle - Bless'em)
Ravens at 49ers (Ah, the most famous question of all in the NFL - is Colin Kaepernick elite? Probably. Meanwhile, the Ravens can't continue to lose every week)
Late Sunday Game
Patriots at Colts (Luck is expected to return just in time to see the Patriots rush for 300+ yards. Discussion about 'that incident' from last year will be impossible to avoid)
Monday Night Football
Giants at Eagles (The Eagles are showing signs of life and the Giants are on a three game winning streak. Can we read anything into this? No, no one can predict what will happen in NFC East division games)
This is not a thread about College Football.
