I'll often keep a holey pair longer than I intended by finding them in my drawer and thinking I'll get one more wear out of these and throw them away tonight, but then forgetting to throw them away and putting them in my washing basket.

It takes an iron will to throw away a clean pair of pants because of a hole, but I did this just recently. A hero, you say? Yes, probably.

I'd say my oldest pants are circa 2012.
