Proper knives
Having left half my kitchen supplies in London by mistake when I did a runner north two years ago, I have been working ever since with a couple of very blunt and shit knives.
Tesco were doing a Clubcard Boost event, and by boosting our vouchers we were able to buy a rather rofesoinal looking knife block.
picked it up from the store on Tuesday night, and yesterday we both used the knives for the first time, when preparing lunch.
Within two minutes my bf had sliced the top off his finger, and about 3 minutes after that I, haven taken over the slicing, stabbed myself through that webbed bit of skin that is between your thumb and forefinger. fucking OWWWWW.
I thought blunt knives were supposed to be more dangerous, but I must say that in the last two years neither of us has had even a tiny nick.
Very upset at posh knives right now.
tips for not dismembering anything soon?
Apart from- look at what you're dong, concentrate, don't dance while slicing, don't distract the person that is holding the knife, stop behaving like a dick, you are holding a lethal weapon in your hand?
