It's July. It's bleak. We're facing as patch of time where NOTHING of interest will happen, and all eyes will turn to players Twitter feeds and Instagram accounts to try and pick up the merest hint of talking point. Football-focused podcasts have gone through having nothing to talk about, into a phase of flailing whimsy (Grantland did a Metallica and Under Siege 2 podcast) and all the way through, back to having nothing to talk about.
