So season two has begun. Thoughts on the first episode?

Fucking incredible aerial shots, that pan out to the California coastline at the end was great, as were the numerous shots of the highways looking monstrous and arterial, and the one of the sheriff's team moving in on the house making them look like ants. Good stuff. Not entirely convinced by Vince Vaughn so far; he was pretty wooden and unconvincing in a few places but I don't know if I am just seeking out flaws in his performance because I think he's a jerk. Colin Farrell seems like he might be pretty great in this role. Plot-wise there isn't much to laud or complain about just yet, could go anywhere really. I think I was basically pretty happy with it but am still a little dubious about the series' chances of being anywhere near as good as the first. Oh, last thing, WHAT THE FUCK'S THE NEW THEME? Not even 10% as fantastic as the first season's.
