if someone is acting in a particularly attention-seeking way (being extremely loud or outrageous in a public place for example) i won't acknowledge their actions at all, even if everyone else in the room is taking about it or paying attention to it i'll do everything i can in my power to avoid giving them the attention they so desperately seek

people trying to make small talk with me, just won't entertain it at all, regardless of the scenario/context

muting "god save the queen" any time it's played on the tv, was brought up in a household where this was normal behaviour
