Hi boozehounds! Anybody done a booze cruise to Calais before? Looking at picking up 'nuff wine to serve at my wedding but a tad anxious that I'll be bringing in 200 bottles of various wines instead of the regulation 120.

Hold on there John Q. Law, I know you can bring back as much as you shitting well like for 'personal consumption' but how would I prove this to Mr or Mrs UK Customs worker at Folkestone docks? Are invoices for my venue and/or catering quote enough? Should I slip him or her an invite and nudge them in the ribs repeatedly with my elbow?

I'll be driving a rented van which couldn't scream 'pull me over and check for immigrants' more.
