I'm going to put up some alcove shelving this weekend (probably). I'm pretty inexperienced at this sort of shit but I reckon I will be pretty good.

Now, the sawing aspect. Do I need a bench or can I just improvise? Going to have to saw the shelves to size and the timber batten (they seem to call it). What do you reckon?
