(Smug bike wankers need not reply)

Used to be vehemently opposed to this on the grounds that it makes you look like a schoolchild, but the 4 miles a day I walk to and from work chew through work shoes really quickly and it's getting expensive.

What's the hive mind's opinion on this then?
