So I went for a walk this evening around Riga old town so I could get some sandwich ingredients. Never had any issues going around foreign cities by myself at night like. Anyway this local guy randomly starts chatting to me on the street in decent English, asking if I'm alone etc, which immediately puts me on guard. We chat a bit, me being cautious about what I say, and then he starts hassling me for a hug. I feel too awkward to walk away. Eventually I give him a really half arsed hug.

Can't remember how but we end up discussing my bf. He tries the ol "what happens in Latvia stays in Latvia" but I'm not budging. He's outraged that if I have a bf why am I travelling alone, and we spend 20 minutes debating whether he is cheating on me or not (he really isn't), whether I am being unrealistic, stuff like that. I keep manoeuvering myself into the middle of the pavement but he keeps moving too and I end up backed up against the wall. FINALLY, via a really bizarre tangent where he discusses at length (wahey, length!) how a man should "fuck like a man", he admits defeat and accepts that I really am 100% convinced that bf is faithful to me and that I am 100% faithful to him. He shakes my hand and then kisses it ( :/ ), lunges in for a hug and tries to kiss me so I pull away and am like "nooope bye". Was kind of weirdly happy that I have such conviction in mg relationship but also obviously pretty creeped out. (And hungry cos I never did get the sandwich ingredients :( )

Thing is, I blog about my travels and idk whether to mention this in case it alarms bf or my family?? Any thoughts? Never had anyone full on hit on me on the road before.
