lots of people keep their spare toilet rolls in places other than right next to the toilet, like a cupboard out of reach of the squatter, or even in a different room altogether, say a pantry, or hallway storage cupboard. Always thought that's a bit weird. I like to keep all my spare toilet rolls near to where i might need them, 'cos you never know. Why cause yourself the extra stress? Better for peace of mind, imho. Just pile them all up on top of the cistern, like. Absolutely fine that.
