If you're applying for something in a sector you've not previously worked in, and one of the criteria is 'knowledge of the sector' or similar, what do you write? Will they only be looking for experience or do they want you to do a bit of research and bosh together your findings just to show you're keen? Or will that just make you sound like a div who's done 15 minutes of internet research?
