So, due to an annoying cock up, it turns out I'm not going to get paid until the end of next week, and will bills to be paid, I probably won't be able to afford food. So I was wondering, whats the legality of busking? I think you have to have a licence, but if I were to just turn up in the centre of town for a couple of hours and play, would I receive a fine or would I just get told to move along if I was caught. Also, does anyone have any experience in doing it? How much are you likely to make in a small city?
