the latest reply in a conversation with my line manager is pretty antagonistic. It's a reasonably open message, and sort of requires me to respond, but it has pissed me off so much I've just filed it and I'm not going to reply.

It's a pretty pass-agg move by me, but there's no way I could respond without it escalating badly.
