what he actually did, as far as i can tell (read: someone else told me) is sold tools for spammers. so given he's in govern, that makes him a slightly less appealing-looking version of the scammer aliens from the Bender's Big Score episode of Futurama

he doesn't have a trustworthy face, does he? he looks like if you mind-controlled Robert Webb and reprogrammed him so he could only use himeslf for evil

of course, he's going to win his seat at the next election, thus proving that the general public just want to watch the world burn. or maybe it's just that living in Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City is like having a career in the NFL and their brains are reduced to mushy goo from the concussion of everyday drudgery
