Time for my annual thread.

When people come round your house... do you make them take their shoes off? As in, are you one of these people?:

`Hello! Come in, come in`
`Do you want shoes on or off?`
`Erm, off if you wouldn't mind please mate`

I'm not one of these people. If your shoes are clean - keep them on as long as you like. Hate going round peoples' houses where you have to take your shoes off. It's weird.
