After being pulled up for having a laugh at what was effectively a bullying anecdote in the Dog Shit thread I got thinking of awful stuff you did as a kid. I don't think I was ever too bad, certainly never a proper bully, but I specifically remember and am slightly haunted by:

- The delight I took in killing insects (bees, wasps), crabs, slugs, things like that

- Discovering that one of the kids a few years below us would eat sweets off the ground and throwing sweets down and laughing at him with friends as he scarpered around picking them up

- One of my friends (when I was maybe 14) really got to me one day, and pissed me off so much I said to him, "Well at least I don't live in a council house." That was bad.

- Telling another close friend when I was slightly older that he'd probably end up doing, "some really shit degree like Art or something." I have no memory of saying this but he brought it up years later when he was drunk, so it obviously stayed with him. That one hurt.
