Popped into Spoons last night for a cheeky pint before dinner, picked a cask ale on a whim because it was called Mad-Ass and was 5.2%. Turns out it was a smoked chilli porter (made by The Cronx Brewery in Croydon, fact fans). It was sort of amazing, in that it was warming, smoky, rich, bit chocolatey... but also possibly the worst "quick pint" drunk imaginable.

Just been into Utobeer this lunch time, bought a bottle of Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, which might just be my favourite beer, and a bottle of Anchor Spring Saison, because it's sunny outside, though looking on RateBeer apparently it's horrendous. Oh well!
