just searched for a previous thread, but can't find any since 2010.
i'm going on holiday in april to tokyo and SK, will be in tokyo for about 5 days.

any help for where to stay? what area of tokyo is convenient/cheap? do i go for a hotel or hostel or airbnb?
not too bothered about "tradtional" ryokan or anything like that.
also, any recommendations of stuff to do in tokyo apart from obvious stuff?
