really dull thread title but this should deliver.

Lunch today I visited an old favourite sandwich shop of mine, only to find the price of my chosen baguette (bacon brie cranberry) had increased by 20p since I last visited over three months ago. I took this on the chin and followed through when ordering it. Turns out the extra 20p has funded an extremely nicely mannered sandwich lady, a heater above the door, and fresh leaves on the base of the filling. Decided there and then I would have happily paid an extra 50p for this improvement in service and goods, so what I did then was leave a 30p tip (the original extra 20p for the baguette plus 30p tip equals 50p).
