Two that spring to mind...

The Witches - Saw this many times as a child. That bit where she tries to lure the kind down from the tree with chocolate still freaks me out. Dont really get kids films nowadays that are actually creepy do you?

Matilda - Was forced to watch this many times when living in the family home as my little sister loved it. Have to say I think its a pretty decent adaptation. Good casting for Matilda.
