i remember being about 3 or 4 and my mum getting off the phone to my aunt who had been complaining about how bad the weather was where she worked in glasgow, i was utterly baffled when i looked out the window and it was blazing sunshine in lanarkshire

couldn't get my head around the fact there could be different weather happening at the same time in different parts of Scotland
