Obviously to a certain extent comedy is entirely subjective but do you think there's such a thing as comedic intelligence?

I find it staggering sometimes when I can hear a joke coming a mile off only to hear an audience roar with laughter at it.

Is it possible to talk about this kind of thing without sounding like a superior-feeling twat?

Do you know anyone who likes comedy but doesn't actually laugh at it - just says they find it funny? I do, it's pretty weird. Weirder than you mooks on here who don't dance.
