I'm no expert, so this will be extremely clumsily written, but... obviously inspired by today's awful events, what does anyone think could happen in the future? It's just all so depressing, and it's difficult to see how things can get any easier. No matter how many wars are fought, how many peaceful political debates are had, how many people are educated, how much positivity and peace is spread in whatever form, there will always be disaffected, potentially violent people. How can an ideology be eradicated? How can lone wolves be prevented? It just feels like as more tragic events happen, more Islamophobia will be stirred up and more divides will open up. The media don't always help, obviously. What kind of world will the next generation live in? How can things become better and not worse?
