What do you think of academic syllabuses in the UK?
At school I liked history, georgraphy, art, english, well pretty much everything except P.E. and ICT, but I found KS3, GCSEs and A-Levels to be severely uncomprehensive. I've learned practially nothing interesting or useful from them.
I'd rather have a general overview of every academic subject rather than learn about some specific case studies and learn how to write an argument in an essay for something I don't care about, which is exactly how everything in my was school taught. Is it me or are syllabuses in the UK just shit in general? I suppose it depends on who you are. I'm an all or nothing person and I feel like I've received a really underwhelming education.
