My boss inadvertently let it slip to her 11 year old (who is in 1st year of secondary school) that Santa was made up, and he had a complete paddy about it- crying and howling, heartbroken tantrumming. Is that a bit old to still be believing? I think I was about 10 (my father called it a 'load of bloody horseshit' in woolworths, and then expressed surprise that I still believed when I pointed out the massive SPOILER. I had had my serious doubts since about the age of 7, and mainly just played along for eth benefit of my wee sister, but until dad confirmed it for me I kind of half believed/ wanted it to be true.)
