CCB, you will be missed in the role of co-quizmaster, big boots to be filled indeed, but I hope to find you on the battlefield next season.
I am grateful to whoever ends up taking his role, I wish I could help out but alas it cannot be, due to work constraints.

I take AQOS rather seriously - I know that many players don't - but that's how I enjoy my sport, equal measures of sportsmanship and gamesmanship.

This season I concentrated on the long game, aiming for a consistency of answering across every week after carefully mapping out how the DiS Bedwetting Hivemind behaves post-Notegate.
I did not win a single game this season, not bettering a 2nd place finish on week one, but with eight top ten finishes under my belt and 100% top twenty finishes you could say that my approach has worked, although it can be quite heart-breaking to grace the top spot mid-game and then lose it again due to tactical choices.

With the rules stipulating that to remain in the Rolling League you must participate in exactly half or more of all games played to that point, and with twelve-to-fourteen games per season, the gamesmanship part of my brain said to stop after Game 7 with a surely insurmountable score of 90.27, as one bad week could spell disaster.
Sportsmanship won over (because I f**king love AQOS) and here we are.

On that note, my thanks go to all players, but in particular a hearty pat on the back to all those who managed to play all twelve games no matter their ability,. The game thrives because of people like you.
Well done to Slicky on the Mumsnet Cup win, and a special mention to juninho10 for making the final such a thrilling viewing.
A tip of the hat to lordscopie and aggressively_passive for a well contested Rolling League, neither of you let up an inch, and finally congratulations to any player who won a game. I've forgotten how it feels.

I have what I consider a unique rivalry with hip_young_gunslinger, and although his performance was lacklustre this season, I can't help but think that he'll be back with a vengeance.

But that's fine.
