Hi guys.

we have just had our office repainted a nice soothing shade of very pale blue. We have this big wall that needs something to go on it. Please help me by suggesting something appropriate. Remember, this is a professional environment, so please do bear in mind the word Appropriate in both forms - something good, and something inoffensive.

This is going to go well.

There are three, sometimes four, of us work in here. M- suggested Mark Rothko, which is o.k. if a bit bland (and also similar to what I did for GCSE art and got failed for, so I like it because I'd do it but not sure if it's that interesting. Looks like Travelodge art). R- suggested a David Hockney, but his stuff is terrible. the stuff I have seen anyway. also very Travelodge-looking.

An inspirational quote above a tiger is very tempting, but not sure we could bring ourselves to do it.

It doesn't really matter what our tastes are, we all overlap somewhere but we don't know where that is until you suggest it. Yes, that's right - YOU!
