Anyone been to prison? Or had family or friends who have been sent down?

One fairly close mate of mine was sent to a young offenders institute the week I started university. I never visited and have lived to regret it. Not 'cos I felt bad, just that I'd loved to have had a nose about.

So yeah, anyone got any good stories?
