Really really stupid question thread
The hot tap in our bathroom sink broke the other day, and our building's handyman came round yesterday to have a look (he didn't fix it). This morning, I went to have a shower, and discovered he must have done something to it.
In the bath, there is a single tap head, with a hold and cold knob (wahey) on either side, and the shower tube comes directly out of the middle of this. For more than a year when using the shower, I've turned the knobs (wahey) and it's come out of the shower head. I've never once tried to use the bath tap. But this morning, the water came out of the bath tap. And I realised there is no obvious way to switch it back - no switch, no lever, no toggle, no dial, nothing. What am I missing? Will I have to take baths forever?
