There's a lass I met at work that has a pretty hefty fear/uncomfortableness around fruit, in particular bananas. She claims that she can't spend too much time in the same room as them, or with them nearby.

Another friend has a fear of pennies/coppers. She won't ever accept change from people just in case there might be a 1p or 2p in there. She has no idea how this fear came about in the first place. Wierd.
