For me it has to be BBC Four. Whether it's a fascinating, wonderfully produced documentary about something I know very little about (e.g. caravans), or a superbly written 20-hour drama series in a language I don't speak, BBC Four's output is just so much more edifying than any other channel's. It's a wonderful representation of what our licence fee can get us.
