today i had possibly my worst experience at a hairdresser's since a tunisian barber gave me a mullet at the age of eight (it's ok, i lived in tunisia at the time)

i requested a fairly simple haircut (short back and sides, slightly longer on top), and ended up with a bizarre ultra-hipster affair including a pretend parting that was hacked out of the side of my head with a straight razor. awful, i'm not even remotely cool enough to carry any of this off with the requisite conviction.

anyone else want to share bad experiences with barbers/hairdressers? come on, let's work through this together.
