Did you ever write to Jim'll Fix It? Did he respond? Did you get on the telly?

When I was seven, I was watching an episode with my family, and asked if it would be OK if I wrote to Jim. She asked what I wanted to ask for, so I told her that I wanted Jim to kill my teacher Mrs Tether. Thinking this to be funny, not only did my parents approve of this, they helped me get the pencil and paper to write the letter, stamped it and put it in the post for me. I never heard back.
