Scottish party membership #SSP
Post-referendum, it would appear that ~250 people per hour (>4 people per minute) have joined a pro-Yes party.
~6000 to the SNP. Putting membership to >30,000. (Up from ~20,000 in 2011).
~2000 to the Scottish Greens. Doubling or tripling membership to >3000 (up from ~1000 in 2009).
~1000 to the SSP.
Membership of (what, according to their twitter bio*, is) "Scotland's largest political party" is possibly as low as ~5,000 at present. (Down from ~30,000 in 1997, ~17,000 in 2008, and ~13,000 in 2012, depending on your source - the party hasn't released membership figures since 2008). *Not by the measure of MSPs, Councillors or members; but by focusing MPs (Lab 41, 11 LD, 6 SNP, 1 Con) or full councils control (Lab 5, Ind 3, SNP 2, NOC 22) only.
Scottish Conservatives membership in 2012 was ~11,000. (Up from ~8,500 in 2011, but down from ~16,500 in 2006).
Scottish Liberal Democrat membership in 2011 was ~3,000.
