Not sure if this has been discussed before but I spotted this on the Elite Daily youtube channel recently and it seems to have been doing the rounds on reddit too.

On one hand he professes that he's living life on his own terms but on the other it seems like the he's quite heavily influenced by drugs/alcohol which cushion him against the tougher realities of life on the streets.
