So I was cycling along Mill Road, Cambridge this afternoon. I overtook a cyclist, and shortly afterwards a white van drove past beeped at me. (Presumably I didn't use the correct hand signal before overtaking the cyclist).

Rather than saying something pithy, withering or vulgar, I kind-of half-muttered "and your problem is?"

Not even "what's your problem?" ... "and your problem is?"
