All of my boxer shorts have different front configurations.

Some have a buttoned door for ease of access
Some have a convoluted maze of cloth to access the other side
Some have no access at all and force you to pull the elastic down to get it out of the way altogether?

Which is best? Why is there such variation?
You can talk about other pant types in this thread also, but please try not to go off on tangents too much.
