Does anyone else have any hearing problems?

Always had them as a child, when I was lucky enough to have the sexily named "Glue Ear". My hearing was up and down but I came close to needing hearing aids at one point.

Recently noticed some major deterioration in my left ear again. Booked into the doctors and all that, but wondered if anyone here suffered, and what actions they've taken to alleviate it.
