My dad used to tell me that Argos had a magic machine that made the things you wanted once you'd paid for them. He'd tell me that he couldn't buy me the Lego/bike/Game Boy game I wanted there because he was saving up to buy one of the machines for me and then I could have whatever I want (so long as it was in the Argos book, as that was all the machine knew how to make).
