Went into Rymans this morning to buy a USB mouse. The man behind the counter was white. I said "cheers mate" when the transaction was done.

Then I bought some fruit from a stall and the guy was black and I said "cheers boss".

Then I realised that I think I only ever call people in shops, taxis etc "boss" if they are non-white or foreign.

I'm a racist.
