Well, obviously most charities are good, but some suggestions pls. I have been newly nominated to be part of a charities committee in work, the idea being that £1 for dress down on Fridays and various other things gets given to a charity, we decide who and what we do to raise the money, usually matched by the company itself (how noble of them). It is probably about £500 a time or so. I like the idea of giving it to small local charities where this kind of money would make a real difference, rather than gobbled up by the large corporate ones. I know they do a lot of good as well, but in my head it is paying for some flashy website or the head of HR's holiday rather than to fix a roof of an old people's supper club.
