House facing onto our back garden has had their Burglar/Smoke alarm going off continuously since 6pm last night; we've reported it to Lambeth Council, who don't seem to give much of a shit.

Is there anything we can actually do about it, short of complaining more to the Council again? No-one in our house (and presumably in the nearby vicinity) slept much last night, even ear plugs don't seem to drown the noise out.

I can only assume whoever's house it is, is off on holiday or something, so it could be going on for a wee while longer...
