So everyone's favourite hipster team Colombia are sadly no longer gracing us with their presence after a fairly batshit mental yet inevitable defeat to hosts Brazil.

Sad big Jim 'Mad Dog' Rodders have gone, but perhaps worse is the news that WC2014 star (tm) Neymar Jr is out of the rest of the tournament with a banged up spine, leaving Brazil without their playmaker and central defending power house Thiago Silva (suspension) in their semi against Germany (for only the second time in WC history!), who rather uninspiringly outlasted France in the earlier game.

Tonight sees two so far disappointing teams go at it in the midday heat in Argentina vs Belgium, then a real 9pm humdinger in Costa Rica vs Holland in a game that literally only hoogy will want to see the latter win.
